Our Rugby tournament at Southport is now one of the largest rugby festivals available in the UK. In 2010, we have received entries from Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England.
Southport is now a first class upmarket tourist destination full of fun filled entertainment to suit everyone. The Seafront incorporates a variety of entertainment facilities including bars, restaurants and hotels, which are situated alongside the award-winning beach. Attractions include entertainment centres, Go-Karts, Botanic Gardens, model railway and the new Splash World.Southport has Britain's second longest pier which has been completely refurbished at a cost of £7 million winning “pier of the year' award.

Holiday Centre
We have the perfect combination of a fantastic Rugby tournament with great evening entertainment for both adults and children. There are three entertainment venues, which include The Queen Vic, The Fun Factory and Lunars. Restaurants include Casey’s Whistle Stop Restaurant and the Downtown Diner. If you are staying on a self-catering basis, there is a fully stocked mini market and an in store bakery and plenty of restaurants.Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, mini sports pitch, snooker, pool, table tennis, amusement arcade, darts and much more…
On the Centre, you will find plenty of great places to eat out from themed restaurants to fast food favourites at the Downtown diner and traditional fish and chips.
ACCOMMODATION: We have three categories of accommodation staying in Club, Classic & the cost effective Budget apartments.
Club Apartments Club units are located in prime locations and are equipped to a higher specification with each apartment having up to two bedrooms, which consists of double, twin or bunk bedded rooms with free bed linen, lounge area with colour TV and Satellite channels, fully fitted bathroom with bath/shower, towels, fitted kitchenette with microwave and free electricity.
Classic Apartments All Classic units have upto two bedrooms consisting of double, twin or bunk bedded rooms with free bed linen, kitchenette, private bathroom with bath or shower and colour TV.
Budget Apartments The budget apartments are basically the same as mentioned above, however these apartments do not have double glazed front windows or doors. Each apartment has a fitted kitchenette, one or two separate bedrooms with free bedding and a lounge area with colour TV.
Festival Details
Our Rugby tournament is played at the private grounds of Southport Rugby Club, which is just a five minute drive from the holiday centre. Each day, we provide a FREE bus service to the grounds so there is no driving once you have arrived. The club has six changing rooms, large licenced club house,satellite beer bar, food stalls along with seven rugby pitches (mini & full size). Entries have already been received from Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England. As with each age group, we expect up to twelve teams per age group, with each age group split into two. Each team will then play five group games during the two day event plus a final.

FREE PLACES - If you pay full deposits of £25 per person by the 30th November you will receive free places depending on the number of people in your party. Sport Tours Ltd will award you 1 free place with every 25 people travelling. Should 8 persons share an 8-berth apartment, one extra FREE place will be awarded.
