DUSSELDORF is known to be one of the wealthiest regions of Germany. This stylish yet historic city with its location on the River Rhine is teeming with characteristic small cafes, restaurants, discos, and jazz clubs. Groups visiting this beautiful City must go to the Hofgsarten and the Konigsallee. There are two famous landmarks in Dusseldorf, the 13th century St. Lambertus Church, with its amazing twisted spire, and the Alstadt with its Gothic Rathaus, in which has been called the ‘longest bar in the world’ due to being the home to over 200 bars. Another great attraction a couple of miles to the North of Dusseldorf is the Warner Brothers Movie World Theme Park, which offers a whole host of thrilling rides and shows, especially for the younger ones.
COLOGNE is overlookedby its magnificent Gothic Cathedral and is Germany's fourth largest city which is very lively with much to offer, including the awe-inspiring Rhine Valley & its beautiful surrounding villages. There are also numerous museums, art galleries and restaurants, but for an amazing view of all the city you need to climb the telecommunications tower followed by gliding over the river Rhine in a cable car alternatively experience a boat trip on this famous river. Nightlife to be experienced in this busy city would suit any adult team.
AACHEN is located on the borders of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Teams will be able to play in Rugby tournaments in either Germany, Holland and Belgium and clubs relish the opportunity to play friendly matches against British teams. Aachen is famous as being a “spa town” previously described as a hidden gem tucked away from the normal tourist hotspots. You can choose to stay in good quality youth hostels or hotels. The plus is playing different teams from three different countries.

RUGBY FESTIVALS AND FRIENDLIES Festivals and friendly matches take place in Cologne, Dusseldorf or even across the border in Holland. All clubs have their own private grounds with excellent facilities usually with clubhouse, bar and well maintained pitches. Your team will not be playing park rugby on a European tour with Sports Tours!

Hotels (twin, double, triple or quad - Bed and Breakfast) There are a variety of hotels and guest houses which offer in 2, 3 & 4 bedded accommodation all with en-suite facilities. Youth and all-male groups can reduce the overall cost by occupying multibedded rooms with shared facilities. Prices all include breakfast daily and evening meals are available if required. If your team is under 14 or below you could stay at Sunparks, Heilbachsee. Set in beautifil countryside, the family park has an abundance of attractions both on the site and locally. The resort has a lovely indoor swimming pool and a separate children’s pool, sauna and solarium. The site also offers crazy golf, table tennis, basketball, volleyball and the various children’s playgrounds and activities.
Sunparks: 4, 6 & 8 berth bungalows (self catering) The accommodation provided are in brick built bungalows which sleep 4-8 persons. Each bungalow is centrally heated and has a living/dining room with TV and fire place, open plan kitchen (fully equipped) and a well furnished bathroom and separate toilet. Each bungalow also has its own patio with garden furniture and parasol.
