Our tournament at Southport will be one of the largest rugby festivals available in the UK. We expect teams from Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England.
Southport is a first class friendly tourist destination full of fun filled entertainment to suit everyone. The Seafront incorporates a variety of entertainment facilities including bars, restaurants and hotels, which are situated alongside the award-winning beach. Attractions include entertainment centres, Go-Karts, Botanic Gardens, model railway and the new Splash World. Southport has Britain's second longest pier which has been completely refurbished at a cost of £7 million winning “pier of the year' award. The pier features a tram, which travels the mile long journey to the seaward end where there is a pavillion filled with attractions. A lifeguard and beach patrol service ensures visitor safety.

Holiday Centre
Pontins is the perfect holiday centre if you are looking for a great Rugby tournament with fantastic entertainment for both adults and children. There are three entertainment areas, which include The Queen Vic, The Fun Factory and Lunars. Restaurants include Casey’s Whistle Stop Restaurant and the Downtown Diner. If you are staying on a self-catering basis, there is a fully stocked mini market and an in store bakery and plenty of restaurants. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, mini sports pitch, snooker, pool, table tennis, amusement arcade, darts and much more…
On the Centre, you will find plenty of great places to eat out from themed restaurants to fast food favourites at the Downtown diner and traditional fish and chips.
ACCOMMODATION:
We have three categories of accommodation staying in Club, Classic & the cost effective Budget apartments.
Classic Apartments
All Classic units have upto two bedrooms consisting of double, twin or bunk bedded rooms with free bed linen, kitchenette, private bathroom with bath or shower and colour TV.
Budget Apartments
The budget apartments are basically the same as mentioned above, however these apartments do not have double glazed front windows or doors. Each apartment has a fitted kitchenette, one or two separate bedrooms with free bedding and a lounge area with colour TV. | |

| Festival Details |

The tournament is played at the private grounds of Southport Rugby Club, which is just a five minute drive from the holiday centre. The club has three full size and two mini pitches (additional pitches available), six changing rooms, large licenced club house, beer bar and food stalls. Entries are expected from Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England. As with each age group, we expect up to twelve teams per age group, with each age group split into two. Each team will then play five group games during the two day event plus a final. |

FREE PLACES - If you pay full deposits of £25 per person by the 30th November you will receive free places depending on the number of people in your party. Sport Tours Ltd will award you 1 free place with every 25 people travelling. Please call the office for further details.
